The Rainbow Choir!

Thank you so much for your interest in singing with the Rainbow Choir. Our first performance was last year during the PRIDE interfaith worship service in June of 2024. We also sang the song "By Breath" by Sara Thomsen during her October concert in Bayfield. With Joni Chapman as our pianist, we will once again sing two songs for the Second Annual Pride Worship service on Sunday, June 29, 5:00 pm. This event will take place on the lawn to the left of the Washburn Meditation Center.  In case of rain, we will have our event inside the Meditation Center.

The theme of this service is "Draw the Circle Wide", and our two songs will be “Draw the Circle Wide” by Gordon Light and Mark Miller and “For All the Children” by David Lohman. The choir will also sing along from the audience during “Open your Door” by Vince Schueren. Please find practice resources below in case you would like to familiarize yourself with our songs beforehand!

There is no special singing experience needed to join the choir. Please be sure you can attend at least one and preferably both of the choir rehearsals:  Monday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 25 at 7:00 pm.
